What I Would Do With 8 Copies of #AskGaryVee Book
On February 23rd Gary Vaynerchuk is doing a Super 8 live streaming day. During the event, he will be entering everyone who buys 8 books into a competition to win an hour with him (travel to NYC included).
Last week Gary said he wanted to know what would do with 8 copies of his new book. So here is what I’d do with them.
Read It
Over the past month or so I have become a citizen of the Vayner nation. I am watching every newly released as soon as I can and am working my way through his back catalog too. Last week I named him as one of the top 4 influencers in my life (read that articles here) and my closest businesses partners have told me I’m even starting to talk like him. In short, I think he’s flipping amazing. So before I did anything, I’d read his book, probably staying up all night just so I can finish it in one sitting.
Give One to My Business Partner Jack
I am involved in numerous businesses ventures and spent over 50% of our business meetings repeating things Gary has said on the #AskGaryVee show. So to save them the trouble of listening to me repeat things, I would just give them the book so they can get inside his head for themselves. Side point, I honestly think GaryVee is essential reading and watching for anyone wanting to make in business.
Give One to My Friend Nick
My friend Nick introduced me to GaryVee and to try and repay the favor I would give me a copy of Gary new book. I’d like to think I add value to all my friends and I couldn’t think of a better way of adding value.
In the past 6 months, Nick has started making killer vlogs on YouTube and I think everyone watch this should them.
Give One to a Mentor
One of my mentors, Seth Dahl, is a big GaryVee fan too. It takes a lot for me to get excited about children’s ministry but Seth manages to do that. But, he is so much more than just a children’s pastor. He is an around genius, whether on it’s theology, family, business or social media.

Give One to My Mum
My mum blogs. She has actually been hardcore blogging longer than I have and last week I convinced her to get back in the game. So, if she can get over the mild bravado, I think she’d find Gary insights helpful as she ups her blogging game.
Keep One to Give Away
As I go through life I regularly recommend books I’ve read to people. So I’d keep one spare, for the eventual time in a few months when I think ‘this person needs to read #AskGaryVee’.
Keep One Nice
We all like to show off the books we’ve read, so I’d keep one copy nice to put on my (future) office bookshelf or have on my coffee table. Why not use the one I read? Well I don’t know about you, but
Make Motivational Wallpaper Out of the Pages
I am always looking for new design ideas for my bedroom or (future) office. I really do think the pages of his book would make great wallpaper and useful for motivation on a ‘slow’ day. Some, even Gary, may call it a waste, however, I think it’s the best way to sneakily get others to read his book (and then hopefully buy it).
