One Must Be Most Unconventional

We take the times we live in for granted. We live in the present, and because of this, surely, it can’t be interesting. It’s only when years have passed and history separates us, sometimes radically, from what once was that we begin to see the value of time. It takes effort to pay attention to the present and see that it has as much value as the past and as much excitement as the future. I’m as guilty as anyone else of ignoring what’s current, but I do what I can to be mindful of my life while I’m living it.
