The best way to be a writer is to write. But strangely, perhaps this is the greatest impediment to one transforming from a person with great ideas to someone that has committed those ideas to page and then finished work. I think part of the problem is that ideas change over time. We consider them, if we are thoughtful (and most writers are thoughtful, it is why they right), in many different aspects, and from a variety of angles.
