The Kokoda Trail is one of the most famous wonders that Papua New Guinea and the world has seen and heard of during World War 2 and now. Its magnificent mountains, forests, rugged terrain and steep mountain slopes and trek still draws attention from people all around the world. The sites and memories of those who have fallen, died and killed still sour in the minds of their loved ones and their quest for life still daunts them every day.

The people from Kokoda are unique in ways of the lifestyle to their environment and the place they lived, their passion for life, their struggles and deliverance still a testament to their wellbeing. For instance, the people from the village of Isurava have a background filled with traditional ways of living. Agriculture is one of their form of survival and subsistence farming.
