I like Backchannel. But the motive alone is proof that creating a brand in other people’s platform must always be something temporary. This is why the New York Times has its own video section (https://www.nytimes.com/video), instead of relying on Youtube (although they use Youtube to repost content).

And I really like your newsletter. I already read Wired’s newsletter, so I believe this will be truly awesome.
