It does not make much sence to fight over a word. The observations of the evolution of elements that led to ‘cooling’; the creation of matter; are correct. Nevertheless they create stars again afterwards, so the cooling is not a final destination. The universe ‘gets hot’ again.

So describing the first few minutes of universe as a hot radiant mass, totally misses the point that dark matter existed long before that. This is not the beginning of the universe. Neither is it a bang/ although light containing matter; E=MC2; does expand out of dark matter. The dark matter does not blow up. It also was a previous time, to the times observed in the creation of first light matter, that were not stars yet.

So, if you like keep on going calling it a big bang; which it was not: an expansion of second layer matter overlapping something that was nothing like a singular point in time and space; does not matter that much. Athough it at the same time gives false information.

The biggest issue: why it is rotating, in science there is a deep silence to be found. So, you are lightyears away from finding anwers to the basic questions :-)
