You could microwave the ice in Mars soil, by having an arificial atmophere of satelites around it with lasers, so it melts and creates a stronger moisty natural atmosphere around it and then use the same system equiped with prismas to double the suns energy, because otherwise it would be too cold. Next to that you could use photosynthesis; don’t know if that’s already artificially created, otherwise you would need plants; to raise the oxigen level, creating a thicker atmosphere.
Colonizing Mars would probably be an adventure attracting a lot of people. It could be used to find bio solutions also applicable on earth.
Seems a long way away, but who knows in 120 years it might be reality.
