Money is a tool! It is not a “goal” nor a real object.
Very true, money can lose value overnight or faster, it is an imaginary object used for commerce.
Worst financial dream, to be so rich you can lay around drunk on a private beach all day.
You waste your life pursuing such an idea, but media puts that as the “goal” way too often.
As Artist, no amount of money can buy what I do, I create & that is simply work.
Long hours of studying, dreaming and yes, working on countless projects to get monies to buy what I need for the next “art object” or finding a client to buy my art work.
Laying around on a beach ALL DAY getting drunk and being stupid, not for me… EVER!
I live to create, money or NO money I will create and in doing so will always find markets for my skills.
Build a business, an invention, graphic design, video, photography work or just a some abstract artwork, it is all the same. I am creating.
People think being “money rich” is great, well truth is those are some of the most paranoid people I have ever had to spend time with. They enjoy life so little because of the social stigma of having to “look proper”, plus the constant worry of who is going to try to steal from them or scam them next.
I enjoy having monies to play with my creations & enjoy life… but hiding away from life just to say I have a million in some bank… nah.
I’ll stay out win or lose, playing the games of life and at 59 years old… well I have won more than lost.
