How to Write Clearly If You Are an Intuitive Thinker.

Well, I am intuitive & dyslexic on top of everything else.

Nice article…. however I would say as a self-publisher for 42 years, don’t count drafts, just DO THEM.

I once wrote a poem, later published, that I wrote the 1st half on a notebook page in 30 or so minutes. Wish I still have the book, because I then spent a year trying to write the 2nd half. The 1st page was so written over as I would trace the words time & time again to find some flow of words.

I then put it into a Mac Plus computer, (I liked being able to walk into the yard with it) and wrote draft after draft, keeping each change as a separate file. I would printout a hard copy and speak it out loud in my backyard. Making it just right.

In 2000, I was asked by the Plumas County Arts Commission President to submit it for the annual calendar, and it appeared on the Nov. 2001 Calendar page.

I will rework my writing for ever, I blog almost daily, and most is just off the top of my head.

I was Photo Editor of 6 weekly newspapers for 9 yrs, and as well as photos published also did articles and after leaving still had stuff published.

The secret to writing the the action of writing…. nothing else, I have pens at my throat & pieces of paper always, even by my bed with a flashlight at hand.

and e.e.cumming, my savor at age 10, lead me to realize you can write anything any way. Some one will like it. Maybe not a ‘viral message’ but you are out there published.
