Mobile Game of Thrones: if Starks played m-games
Free for Android
We couldn’t resist the chance to talk about two of the things we like most at the same time: Game of Thrones and mobile games.
We’ve included many characters, dead, alive and undead alike for a spoiler-free experience… but we failed. Therefore, some minor spoilers ahead. Because Winter. Is. Coming.
All m-games presented can be played or at least tried for free — except for the final bonus character, who was just too good not to include.
LORD EDDARD “NED” STARK: Deer Hunter
In the end, Ned is a simple man who loves simple things: his wife, his offspring, his castle, and the surrounding lands. However, he sometimes misses his times of youth, when he rode alongside his friend Robert Baratheon and hunted wild beasts between battles and do-goodery. He’d nostalgically play Deer Hunter.

CATELYN STARK of the HOUSE TULLY: Virtual Villagers
Lady Catelyn is a management freak who likes to see things grow and prosper. We’ve chosen for her Virtual Villagers Origins, though she’d play the whole series if only she didn’t have a few issues to deal with first.
ROBB STARK: Ravenmark Mercenaries
Rob is a clever strategist and a brave fighter, worthy heir to his father’s legacy. For the first time in three centuries, he’s crowned as the King in the North by his bannermen. His game of choice is Ravenmark Mercenaries.
TALISA, from the Free City of VOLANTIS: The Walking Dead
You purists know that TV-Talisa isn’t books-Talisa, but we don’t care because we love Oona Chaplin and her hands stained with blood. Talisa is able to win over Robb’s heart by being true to herself. No matter if she’s running away from some secret past we’re afraid won’t ever be unfolded. As she’s looking after everyone and likes teamwork and ethics, she’d be a fan of Telltale’s Walking Dead series for sure.

SANSA STARK: Run, Princess, Run
Although it’d be tempting to believe Samsa is playing Candy Crush all day long, she’s not that dumb. The Stark heiress dreams of princes overtaking perils of all sorts to save a damsel, but in the end she’s trapped in a hornet’s nest. Run, Princess, Run is about a princess running away from the bad witch, which reflects Samsa’s feelings in King’s Landing pretty well.

ARYA STARK: Tiny Thief
The brave and witty Arya has latched onto great swordmen like Syrio, Jaqen and Sandor, but so far her stealth and cunning have proven to be the most useful. She’d clearly ace Tiny Thief.

BRAN STARK: Dungeon Village
Bran likes adventures and fables, but also had to learn how to rule Winterfell. Kairosoft’s Dungeon Village is a perfect mix of both.
RICKON STARK: Little Galaxy
Yes, there’s a Stark called Rickon. Whether or not George Martin reckons this, he’ll be the little prince of Little North unless stated otherwise, whose only concern is to let his little mind fly. Little Galaxy suits him well.

JON SNOW: Blood & Glory Legend
The Bastard in the North is one of the few highborn Night Watchers. He dreams of glory and honor and other chivalrous stuff while dwelling in the most inhospitable place in the world. His favorite games are Blood & Glory series, though everybody makes fun of him, inviting him to play Trivial Pursuit instead because he knows nothing.
MAESTER LUWIN: Lone Wolf Saga
The Maester of Winterfell, when his duties allow, likes to lose himself among his books and live through fables of yonder. He’s especially fond of Lone Wolf Saga, for obvious reasons.

HODOR: Red Button
Hodor finds Red Button really interesting.

BONUS: OSHA the wildling: Runic Rumble
Osha keeps lore of the spirits beyond the Wall, and at the same time understands the power of dream prediction and raw survival if required. She also likes to make things with her hands, so this gesture-based game will perfectly fit her tastes.
