Sales Funnel.
Night lecture on sales funnel.
I will like to give a little intro on sales funnel.
Sales funnel refers to the buying process that company leads customers through when purchasing a product. It is also a series of step used to guide visitors towards a buying decision. Take for instance a customers arrived at your shop, the process you take the customer through form welcoming him or her, displaying your products to the person, telling him or her the prices and making the customer buy your product at the end of it is know as Sales Funnel.
If you really want o make it real big saleing of your product or services you'll need to learn how to use sales funnel.
Their are barriers that stop people from buying your product.
* They don't know you have a solution.
* They don't believe you
* They don't believe it would work or them.
* They don't have money.
For you make it in marketing you have to prepare your marketing message in such a way that it breaks the barrier 4.
The way your kitchen funnel makes large substance to flow into the container in an effective manner is the same way your marketing funnel makes people to buy your stuff in an effective manner.
What enters through the funnel is traffic.
Traffic has to do with people that visits your website. Prospect that looks at what you do, or people that clicked on your ad and found their self in your landing page.
The item on the right is the process we take them through in other to get them buy whatever we are selling.
First process is awareness which tackles 1&2 while interest tackles barrier 3 ( because they don’t believe it will work for them).
In decision, here you have got them interested in what you’re offering and made believe it will work for them and its now time to buy your product.
Whenever you’re creating a market funnel you need to create materials and freebies that breakers each of these barriers. All these barriers need to have their own separate marketing materials joined together to make one piece. The first thing you need to do is to break the first barrier. They don’t know there is a solution or you have a solution.
How do we cross the barrier?
All you need to do is to pre-qualify them to see if they actually need the solution you're selling.
I will like to explain what I mean by Pre-qualify: This means to test first and see if you really want to do business with them or if this prospect really need your product so that you don't go and waste your time.
So Pre-qualify starts with blogging as we saw in the image above.
Assuming someone comes to a blog that shows how to lose weight and he/she reads a post and reads another one and yet another, you'll agree with me that the person is is not reading for fun. They're actually interested in what you're giving them which is free stuff in form of your blog posts. So, if you can arrange your blog posts in such a way that the person keeps reading and you have a place at the end where you say "Call this number if you want us to work one on one with you and help you lose weight faster" What do you think would happen? Owing to the fact that he or she has gotten free stuff that helped them.
So, in essence, for somebody that is pre-qualified, that is, the person is very interested in what you're offering, they'll opt-in to that because they've seen that you understands that they have a problem and shown that you know how to solve that problem with your solution. Now.....that's all for the first one: Blogging
Second one: Email series is also another way to prequalifiy people. You get them to subscribe to your mailing list and you send them helpful contents about their problem.
Thirdly: you can do a free diagnosis of their problem and offer practical solutions that can assist them or probably give out a freebie in form of a video tutorial or an ebook that can help them. Another great way to achieve this is through your social media posts.
If you can share helpful contents about the problem your prospects have, you'll be able to get them prequalified for your solution.
So, no matter whatever business you're doing now , start thinking about how you need to let people know that you're aware of their problems and that you have a solution for it.
The sessence of this stage is to achieve 3 things.
_Look at the last box in the image._
*Sale. Collect Leads. Prepare to be sold.*
So, using pussycat effects in your blog posts or email series, you can actually get people to take in on your offer.
Another thing we can do is to collect leads.
We get people interested and have them give us their number or their email so that we can get in touch with them.
You also use this stage to prepare their mind when you need to actually ask them to buy your solution.
So guys, if you position yourself as an authority, people are more likely to buy from you because they have seen how good you are with the freebies you have offered to them that were helpful. So, they're likely gonna trust you and buy whatever you throw their way.
