When your users switch between desktop and mobile, improve the experience using these three points

  1. Continue where the user left off.
Suppose a user has added some items in shopping cart on desktop, they should see them as soon as they switch to a mobile. This would give a seamless transition without hindrance.
  2. Keep the offerings consistent.
If a user is seeing something interesting on your desktop application, the same should be seen in the mobile application. For example, a personalized 30% off, would be seen to a same user on any platform.
  3. Maintain the design language.
Keep the visual elements, such as colors, lines, and language similar between the platforms so that the experience remains unbroken after switching from one device to another.

These are the three most important points I could think about to maintain a continuous experience between the platforms for your brand. I would love to hear more points from you :)
