La Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière from the city

Lyon, a city once ruled by the Romans a long time ago evidence by the amphitheater a top one of its hills overlooking the city, was one of my favorite city to visit during my 5 months stay in France. It is full of small modern café and galleries. The city itself is very easy to get around with few lines of non-messy metro lines. These metro stations are also beautifully designed; they are vibrant, with some station receiving abstract arts or 8-bit art treatment. If you ever get lost in Lyon, look for La Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière to orient yourself. It is situated on top of the Fourvière hill and overlooks the city and the two rivers that flow through it (Saône and Rhône). This would be the city to live in if I were to move to France.
