Google Drive Tips part 1: Copy folder
Google drive is the most popular cloud storage service in the world.
“As of March 2017, Google Drive has 800 million active users, and as of September 2015, it has over one million organizational paying users. As of May 2017, there are over two trillion files stored on the service.” — from the wiki.
I began using Google drive 3 years ago. In 2017, when I started my own business, It becomes very useful for my job, so I use Google Drive every day. In this series, I want to share with everyone some tips what I learned in my daily task.
Part 1: Copy folder
When you use google drive, maybe you don’t notice that “Google Drive lack copy folder feature”.

It is not a problem with people who keep sync all Google drive on their local computer. Because they easily copy and paste folder locally and Google Drive will sync to cloud. Besides that way, Ericyd provide a script to make it directly on web browser.

2. Open the app, authorize your Google account and grant permission for the app to access your data.
3. Select source folder you want to copy.
4. Choose a name for new folder and press copy.

In during the script copy your data, You can track how many file and folder has been copied to new location by open “copy log” link
