The first Monday in May is upon us once again, which means that the Met Gala is here. This year’s theme, based on Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, “Camp: Notes On Fashion”, is all about “the love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration.”
And Puey Quinones, a Filipino designer based in Los Angeles, has made it to the prestigious Met Gala 2019 red carpet in New York.
On Instagram, the 39-year-old designer shares a snap of television reporter Zuri Hall wearing a draped, off-shoulder, baby pink, silk dress, shiny red socks, and black heels.
In his instagram post, he writes “@zurihall wearing my dress at the Met Gala in New York. Met Gala is like our Oscars or Super Bowl in Fashion,” he writes. “Seeing my dress on the red carpet is so surreal!” Thank you so much!! #bucketlist”
Hall, was assigned to interview A-list celebrities present at the ball and covers the event for E! News.
