Kelsey Merritt Makes History as First Filipina Model to Walk in Victoria’s Secret’s Fashion Show
Filipino-American supermodel Kelsey Merritt has earned her wings, and it made history. It’s a huge milestone for the brand, which only just cast the first Filipino model to star in a campaign in November 2016 with Janine Tugonon.
While the 21-year-old has appeared as a model for Victoria’s Secret a few times before, she will be the first Filipina to walk the lingerie company’s runway.
On Saturday, she announced the news with a heartfelt post on Instagram. The Filipino-American model shared a picture of herself holding a bouquet of flowers and smiling.
Kelsey, moved to New York City in October last year and is currently signed with several major agencies including Supreme Management, Women Management Milan, Wilhelmina, and Nomad Mgmt
