We’re proud to announce that Phi raised a $2M seed round to build a “Social gaming onboarding platform for the web3 ecosystem” led by Chapter One & Delphi Digital, followed by Polygon Ventures.

Phi (philand.xyz)is the immersive social gaming world focused on on-chain activities, focusing on gamification of the blockchain itself and enabling easy visualization of “On-Chain Identities”. It encourages people to interact with various Web3 protocols, which provides positive feedback to all protocols and accelerates the overall network effect of the Web3 ecosystem.

Our experience lets users generate their own personalized space using their ENS domain and allows them to claim in-game objects based on their wallet activity. Our users can build their own Web3 worlds using objects to display their interaction, on-chain progress, personal taste, and social graph.

Our mission is to “onboard the next million people to the decentralized world through visualization & gamification of the web3 ecosystem”. Just as NFTs are penetrating beyond the crypto space, we aim to accelerate mass adoption of the entire web3 ecosystem by providing casual touchpoints like social, gaming, and art.

The funds from this round will be used to accelerate the design & development of improving UI/UX & new social/gaming features. Also, we will create a vibrant community focused on expanding collaboration with more protocols, creating Phi derivatives (3D art, animation, game, and more…), and helping each other to grow in the web3 space.
