Failure

I just failed for a new job and, coincidence, I read you. Man, thank you for sharing. Not that I had in mind to give up, no.

I am a runner, too. Always been the lighter in my rugby team but never gave up. During a match, number 7, the type of guy that is twenty or thirty kilos more than me was cornered by his opponents. All he found was to give me the ball. During the tackle, high above the field, I heard the wow of the public. When the coach asked my colleague if he wanted to kill me, the latter answered that I never spoiled the ball. It might be true but he didn’t know the price I paid for. And I still know at my old age.

Whatever, like you brother, I will put the ball under my arm, lower the head, imagine I am hundred kilos and run.

Enjoy your Gouda, proudly wear your bruises and scares, still be part of the game. Again.
