There is a time for pure, meditative, non-subjective observation, with the aim of understanding and orienting the world. However, if you have a hypothesis about how you can make the world better or fix something that seems like a fundamental problem, then is the time for hypothesis and testing. However, agreed that we all need to understand our world and stop being so quick with our label machines.
