4 hours at Doc’s Office

Redeem your time…What I do for 4 hours with an IV in my arm

6 visits a year. 4 hours per visit. 24 hours. That’s one whole day at the doctor’s office a year for my Remicade infusion by IV.

Why? Crohn’s Disease.

Does it Work? Yes!

Expensive? Better believe it $6k per infusion

Is the Point of blog to educate you on Remicade(infliximab), the medicine I receive? NO, that’s irrelevant and quite frankly who cares

We all have things that demand our time, and time is the great equalizer right? So what have I changed to make my life more efficient and get more time back and are there any pointers in it for you? Gotta be!

I will be 26 in a month and every year life throws more demands and responsibilities on your back. This past year having a daughter has brought more responsibility.(Gladly I might add ☺) If you know me you know I love business and the possibilities that entrepreneurship offers for the hard workers out there. Hard work takes time….So now what

So I am redeeming the time at the docs office (when I used to just watch TV,take a nap, etc)and other places when away from my office (which is my home)by: Utilizing Ever note, Quick books mobile, various other cloud subscriptions, always having a book with me, sending quick 2 minute emails to contacts that can change the course of a business start up indefinitely. Cutting out 30 minutes of stupid crap like mindlessly searching the internet or refreshing the twitter feed multiple times a day, or the ever deadly binge on Netflix. While on the subject of the prior why not redeem your bathroom time. Gross right? But let’s face it you can check all the twitter and instagram you need to while hanging out with John and not miss out on much the rest of the day.

Here’s the truth; big blocks of time are a rarity anymore. My big blocks only come in the early early hours of the morning when everyone else is still sleeping. (these are the most productive times when my mind’s gas tank is full)Everybody wants your attention so manage it. I’m not a writer and my grammar is poor or not good haha, but this little blurb only took 10 minutes to write and I wanted to try out this new medium sight. Very cool I might add.

So I have another 3 hours and 50 minutes to get work done during this IV Session and then there will only be 18 more hours for this years IV work sessions as I call them. What time will you redeem this week?
