Well said. Too many sales people spend the majority of a meeting telling you about their business, their assets, and them, vs. you. It’s a rare occasion when someone in sales has done their homework and at least attempts to put themselves in your shoes. What are your objectives? What are your current challenges, both industry and as a brand? Start with understanding that and then tailoring how you can help specific to that… now you have my attention.
