I have a lot of issues with way of viewing the mind body problem. I discuss many of them here.
Briefly, the issues are:
- You have to distinguish between thoughts and Consciousness. They are not the same.
- How do you account for the ability we have to design? We can imagine in our minds something and then bring it into actuality. This effectively lowers entropy.
- Thoughts are the only thing in existence that can travel backwards and forwards in time.
- It’s obvious, as I point out in other articles, that mind is made up from higher dimensions. It’s worth thinking that if you only knew of the three spatial dimensions you would find time to be outside of your comprehension. Similarly, mind is different again.
