White colonialists (and sons of.. like me) are fond of quoting the Bible. If you belong in the WC camp, or still retain the underlying attitudes, please read this from the book of Isaiah:

“ He was despised and rejected — a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.”

Now substitute the “He”, prophetic of Jesus Messiah, with “She”.

Fannie Lou was despised and rejected — a woman of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on her and looked the other way. She was despised, and we did not care.

May God forgive us.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
