The Frogger Delusion

I guess Scientific Materialists believe that we already know all the important stuff there is to know about the universe. I find that attitude to be arrogant ignorance. It was less than 100 years ago that Edwin Hubble discovered the universe that we live in. Since then we have continually discovered a lot of the things that inhabit this universe. The pace of discovery is increasing lately. In my life black holes have been discovered and studied. Many other things too like planets around other stars in the last 20 years. And now lately some mysterious “dark matter” for lack of a better term, seems to be holding out galaxies together. What is it? Nobody knows. And it’s not just cosmology. All fields of science are expanding into unknown territory. We humans have no idea how much we don’t know. To make a grand assumption that the universe is nothing more than a lot of rocks and dust because that’s all we see in front of our nose is both arrogant and ignorant.
