This essay has an interesting start, a curious premise, and some helpful sociological analyses. But at this point, I’m basically clear that it is just another out-of-touch attempt to assess the President and the forces which are swirling about in our society today, which arises from an attitude of “I know more than you” arrogance.

But it was a nice try.
