We all know that talking to yourself is a little weird.

It may seem like something that only people with “so-called” serious issues do, but it’s a normal part of human behaviour.

And anyway, we all have issues, right?

Whether you’re talking out loud as you walk through your day, or just muttering under your breath when you’re alone in the car, talking out loud can be a great way to help you stay on track and get things done.

3. It helps with decision-making

Sometimes when trying to decide whether or not something is right for us, you need a little extra help from your inner voice.

Talking out loud helps you to get those thoughts off your chest and into the world around us so you can make an informed decision about what you want next.

2. Quick thinking

It helps you find solutions to problems more quickly than if we were thinking about them silently inside our heads.

When you don’t know what to do about a problem or how to begin looking for solutions, talking about it out loud can bring clarity faster than thinking about it silently all day.
