Jasmine rice is commonly grown in Asian countries because of its climate appropriate to rice development.

Jasmine rice production processes to consumers’ dining tables:

  • Soil

Organic rice needs to be grown in clean land, free from chemical residues, no pollution, not affected by industrial waste, hospitals, cemeteries, other sources of pollution, fields using chemical fertilizers. The perennial study must handle using composting organic fertilizer at least three consecutive seasons. To choose a natural farming land, farmers must study, evaluate and select suitable soil, and this soil element will help rice grow well fewer pests. The rice absorbs many natural nutrients that make the rice more delicious and nutritious.

  • Rice seeds

Farmers specify to use nationally certified rice varieties that meet the standards set by the Ministry of Agriculture and those that meet organic standards. Besides, it is preferable to use suitable types, clear origins and high nutrient content. Especially we collaborate with research institutes to research new varieties to create higher yields.

  • Fertilizers and Probiotics

Organic fertilizers and microorganisms are in the form of water, minerals, pellets and probiotics. In particular, organic fertilizers and natural minerals such as bat manure, bird droppings, fish droppings, green manure must treat appropriately and a variety of natural and biological measures to maintain and improve soil fertility. At the same time, create natural microorganisms against harmful microorganisms and pathogens in the soil, enhance the resistance of rice.

  • Harvesting and processing of rice

After about 115–135 days, rice will be harvested using harvesting and separating the grain from the stalk. The paddy is then dried at 39–40C for eight hours until there is sufficient moisture to remove the hull. In the process of milling rice, the grain will have to go through two machines. First, the paddy will go through the milling machine. Then, the outer husk layer will remove. The rice will go through a white milling machine to clean the silk crust. The rice husks, with the tips of the embryos that separated, will be crushed, this mixture is called bran. The outer layer of bran powder contains a lot of nutrients, so it will be more susceptible to attack by bacteria, insects and mould from the environment. For unpolished rice, the preservation period for rice is only up to 3 months. As for polished rice, the shelf life will be from half a year to a year. Therefore, polishing rice helps to preserve the rice longer.

  • Packaging and shipping

After finishing the milling and selection process, the rice will be packed into standard quantities: 1kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, .. in the factory’s packaging, those types of 1kg, 5kg will vacuum for longer management. The packaging process is operated by a modern closed chain system. Eventually, the rice bags will be stored at the warehouse and exported to rice distributors or export to other countries.
