I Have No Clue Whether Lawyers Should Learn To Code

I don’t know if the average coder should know about the legal system, but I sure hope there are lawyers out there who understand code — not to program, but so that they can understand the nuances of a technology culture that may help them with their cases.

I think that’s the reason everyone should learn to code, actually. It’s not about turning technology into your bread and butter, but it will become part of the conversation if it isn’t already. The more empowered and knowledgeable we are the more we can make intelligent decisions.
