Passion Is Bullshit

Thanks so much for writing this! I read another article that pushed the exact same message, but from a different perspective. It’s so important to talk about this because there’s a daze in today’s newest working generation that we need to know what we love to do and what we want to do right now and go after it right now, forgetting the fact that most of us aren’t necessarily financially able to, and that maybe we’re not all in the right position to do such a thing. Incredulously, it has only been a relatively recent phenomenon that so many people can just drop everything and pursue a passion. Before that, we were much more concerned with how to provide for ourselves and our family, let alone having the time to just ponder about the secrets of the universe and realize our dreams. Remember, Colonel Sanders had over 200 jobs before KFC was born.
