Air BnB is a great service but the notion of the “sharing” economy is such a joke. As soon as a tech firm can make billions by going public you can forget notions of sharing. It’s insulting to a million years uman hof evolution even to use the term “sharing.” Ninety percent of AirBnB rooms are owned by people who are in the unlicensed hotel business, as is their parent company. No matter how nice the hosts may be that is their business. Because they are untrained and unlicensed some visitors, like you, are likely to run into hosts who treat you much worse than you’d ever be treated at a Best Western.
