When You Want to Relay News and Have the Majority Understand

Simple News — so simple that a 10-year-old can comprehend them. If people understand the news, we’ll have more democracy. After my article “The Burden of Civilization: Navigating the Complexity Trap”, I decided to write the news in a way that even a 10-year-old can understand!

For example, “War and Piracy in the Middle East: Can the US Stop the Houthis? — Entering the Battle of Yemen and Iran?” In the Middle East, there’s a group of people called the Houthis, and they are quite powerful. These Houthis seized a ship on Sunday, where some of them descended from a helicopter with a rope and told the crew to go to another port. The ship wasn’t military; it was a civilian vessel traveling between countries without a problem. But this seizure could bring problems and worsen the situation in the region, especially considering the recent conflicts between Israel and Palestine.

Also, the Houthis claimed it was seized because it was Israeli-owned. This means it belonged to someone from Israel. However, Israel says it has no connection to it. It’s a bit confusing, right?

The strange thing is that this ship and the area where it happened are very important for the world. About 17,000 ships pass through there every year! This is a lot of risk and could bring even more countries into war. It’s somewhat…
