Frustration in Tropical Paradise?

Paradise means differently to many people. Most commonly, it’s perceived as a place of great joy and pleasure. An escape. A place where nothing could go wrong.

Not necessarily. Living in a paradise myself I can tell you that life is not all peachy. Your negative emotions still exist: anger, anxiety, envy, resentment, frustration, etc.

So what were my light bulb moments?

  1. My environment is not in sync with my personal values, dreams, and goals. Yes, even if it is a gorgeous paradise.
  2. This disconnect is creating frustration and decreasing my happiness.

In short, make sure your environment is supportive of what you hold dear in your mind, heart and soul.

Don’t let the bling bling distract you.
