Thanks. History has countless examples one group overthrowing dominant groups only to become little better, and at times worse, than the group they over threw. When you look at out history or slavery, then Jim Crow, and now mass incarceration, you find this pattern. Each time we try to overthrow our racist tendencies, they come back in a new social form. I think it is important that we make some kind of record of this shifting form process, because that is where racism is renewing itself again and again. Preparing out children to be aware of process is not as simple as just saying this is racist, because we know that this racist ideology always tries to implant its self into ideals we want out kids to value and respect…
