The Yebisu Festival Due to Open on Feb. 11
The 8th installment of the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions is due to open on Thursday, February 11th, 2016. Showcasing a multitude of artistic outlets from moving image, photography, to installations the festival brings together a wealth of international artists under the theme “Garden in Movement.” Inspired by Gilles Clément’s concept of the moving garden (le jardin en mouvement), the festival aims to re-envisions contemporary society as an ever-evolving, multidimensional orgasm made up of interrelated components.
The festival offers an abundance of programs from exhibitions, out-door installations, to screening in various venues in the Yebisu area. The festival only runs for ten days so don’t miss it!
