Free Instagram Stories Editing Apps for Creatives and Brands

How to up your Instagram Stories game

(No watermarks or in-app purchases are included to use these apps)

I love creating unique concepts and I love seeing others create amazing content.

I personally enjoy an aesthetically pleasing photo or video. If you create great content, have an awesome feed, and insight, people will follow you.

This is a visual social media app, so why not make your content better? Not only with your posts but also with your stories. Now, with Instagram Stories we can take our social engagement to the next level. These apps help take the basic features on Instagram Stories and add unique photo effects.

I wanted to share these three (free) apps with you so that you have more tools and fun with your content curation.

Snow

Let it Snow. Originally a Snapchat clone, this app will change your life if you are a blogger, artist, musician and all of the above. The interesting brush options and vintage effects for the camera will give a cinematic-feel to your stories. You can create GIFs, make your own music videos, and play with AR stickers.

Unfold

This app is perfect for layouts. The free white layouts are all you need to curate a minimalist-like story. You can embed videos and photos in the same story. This app is perfect for recaps or if you want to collage flawlessly.

PicsArt

You can do so much with this app. As a dupe to Photoshop Express, you can add cool presets to your photos, collage, and edit backgrounds. This is the best collage-maker I have seen on the market. (Better than InShot)

I like to overlap with this app!

Instagram Story Tips:

  1. When you post to your feed simultaneously post to your story.
  2. Use geolocation tags in your story post.
  3. Use hashtags — yes, I said what I said!
  4. Tag relevant accounts — this includes fashion brands and collaborators.

I hope you try these out and let me know below which apps you already use!

Share this article with your social media manager. They will enjoy using these apps.
