Let’s make it easy to read:

  1. Meteor Methods are tied to DDP for authentication, so if you don’t use the Accounts package, you will have to implement your auth strategy in each methods (Meteor.call() …). Another hack.
  2. When you push your new app version to production, you need to restart your app, gracefully ! This is CRITICAL for SaaS APIs…
  3. I did not say the performances of Meteor were bad… just wondered what it could be with huge load. Small applications can experience load, like social networks with 1 000 simultaneous users sending messages.
  4. I never said to not use Meteor at all.
