I never thought of myself as a centrist. For twenty years, I voted straight-ticket Republican every single election. In 2008 and 2012, I voted for Ron Paul, the fringiest candidate in the Republican primary. In 2016, I voted for Ted Cruz. I was a Republican Precinct Captain, a member of my Republican State Committee and a Republican National Delegate for Ted Cruz. I made phone calls, donated and knocked on doors for Republicans for local, state and national office. Now I’m voting for Joe Biden.

What I liked about Ted Cruz and Ron Paul was their reverence for our Constitution…
