I think this is really poignant. Some of the most interesting and valuable experiences of my life have happened while I was just going with the flow. I worked hard, don’t get me wrong, but I didn’t actively chase after those experiences. They simply manifested before my own eyes through a culmination of circumstances that thankfully led to positive outcomes. Whereas the things I’ve wanted with a fiery and burning passion often lead to disappointment because my expectations weren’t necessarily fulfilled.

I think a lot of people forget that famous and successful people share these same feelings and sentiments. I’d like to thank you for reminding me that behind the spotlight and somewhere backstage at a packed concert, some of our famous idols are also engaged in the eternal pursuit of human fulfillment and growth.
