Pine & Fur
Aug 27, 2017 · 2 min read

Friday morning we woke up, got ready, and headed towards Bozeman, MT. Once in Bozeman we ran a few errands and explored the town a bit. It was very easy to tell Bozeman is a very active/outdoorsy town. Everywhere you turn, there is a different sporting goods store, or an SUV with a big roof rack. The main street in town was really neat, lots of little shops and friendly people. We walked around with the dogs and decided to grab bite to eat at a food truck called Victory Tacos. The tacos were good, but they also sold ice cream and that was beyond good, possibly the best we’ve ever had. We split a waffle cone with salted caramel ice cream and headed back to the car to continue driving.

ICE CREAM, YUM!

We ended up having to backtrack a little bit to head towards Livingston, MT, which is where our campground was for the night. The drive was really pretty, we were completely surrounded by mountains. After we arrived at the campground we set up camp and relaxed for the night.

Cows, cows, cows!

Shortly after we laid down for bed, we experienced a new first: our first storm in the tent. Luckily it was a quick one, and nothing too intense, because it was scary! Although the tent was totally secure, it sounded as if it was about to rip off in the wind. Let’s hope we don’t have to have that experience too often, because let’s be honest, it will probably happen again.
