Known for its various ‘pies’ (Missisippi Mud Pie, Banoffee Pie, X-Treme Oreo Pie, etc), Spoonful of Sugar has won hearts of many. It offers one of the vastest dessert menus in the city- from gateux aux fruits to mousse cakes to American cakes to luxury cakes to cheesecakes to ‘chocotherapy’ to petit fours to ‘cutie pies’ to American cakes to tea cakes galore- this is only one of the four pages their menu has to offer!
2. Stoner
Locations: Koramangala & Indiranagar
Stoners is known for its unique sundaes. Our favorites are Crunchy Ferrero (chocolate ice cream with ferrero rochers, chocolate sticks, nutella, and hot fudge!) and Chocolate Lava (chocolate and vanilla ice cream with oreo cookies, choco chips, chocolate sticks, topped with a molten lava cake and hot fudge!). Apart from their delicious sundaes, they also serve pizzas and burgers to complete your meal.
3. Chocolate Boulangerie Patisserie

It’s a small little cozy place, specially for the chocolate lovers! Fudge brownies and truffle praine pastry are a must try. It offers a good menu consisting of cake, cheesecake, cupcake, and some delicious snacks. It also offers special cakes with fancy names such as Mangi Semifreddo, Almond Frazipan, etc on orders only. Also, it is light on your pocket! Yay yay yay- lets rush after college?

This place is actually a bunglow transformed into a restaurant and gives a European street café feel to it, sounds exotic right? Not a very big place, it has a very European authentic interior which adds to the authenticity. From bakery to yummy desserts to American food, this place has it all. Have your complete lavish meal here and you wont regret it!

A place for the waffle lovers, this gives a person the luxury to make their waffle with ther own fussy choice! You can choose a waffle with single, double, or even triple topping with exotic toppings like Belgian chocolate, maple syrup, nutella, banana and nutella, ice cream, strawberry and whipped cream, and many other combinations! Our favorite is the classic nutella waffle.
5. Art of Delight

With a soothing ambience , the texture, taste, and presentation of every item is exceptional here. Desserts are presented in mason jars which add to the awe of the visitor. They have a good collection of sundaes, desserts, exotic milkshakes and some coolers. We loved the brownie mocha and the chocolate hysteria sundae. Our favorite dessert was nutella cheesecake, never heard of this one before. And for the chocolate lovers, try the brownie shake or the hersheys hot chocolate!
6. Berry’d Alive

You would be startled the moment you look at their menu which comprises of lots and lots of sundaes with names and compositions you have never heard of before. Leading you to confusion and curiosity, you would want to try every single combination! Popular for its hazelnut cream pot, there is blackberry choco-chip baked sundae, chocolate wontons with ice cream, blueberry & ricotta ravioli fries, double decker brownie, strawberry crumble pudding, and the list goes on….

There is no Bangalorean who hasn’t heard of this place, for sure. Known for its legendary sundaes, we love every single thing about this place. Their ‘hot chocolate fudge’ and ‘Death by chocolate’ is to die for. Light in the pocket and heavy in the bowl, what more do we want? Every serving is filled to the brim, and the quality is impeccable! A must go-to place for all!
8. Haagen Dazs
Many Locations: Indiranagar, MG Road
A bit pricy but worth it- the New York chain Haagen-Dazs is now in Bangalore! It has huge fondues which consist of cakes, ice creams and fruits. Their sundaes are super duper luxurious like the Eiffel tower which is an imitation of the Eiffel tower with chocolate and ice cream, ‘chocolate tasting journey’ which consists of ice cream, cupcake, hot chocolate and a brownie, and their banana split is to die for. One sundae can serve from 2–8 people, depending on which one you ask for.
