Feeling lost and shattered?????

Hi! Friends, have you ever suddenly felt lost and shattered? Let me tell you what I do, when i feel the same. Yes I too feel the pain, the pinch, the prick like you all and linger on it for about 12 years- NO absolutely not, 12 months-NO definitely no, 12 weeks- NO i don’t think so, 12 days -NO not really, 12 Hours- YES!!

Why do i stay with it even for 12 hours? What comes next then??? I firmly believe that each and every experience, good or bad has a learning. First and foremost, I try to figure that lesson the hit has taught me, so as to be cautious to not repeat the same mistake again. That lesson remains with me, not the pain. Second, apart from the lesson learnt, there is always and always a positive note attached to it, which we don’t see it easily there and then. It remains faded initially, but sooner or later it becomes clear. Finding that positive note, I imbibe it in me.

Let me give you an example. The workaholic me was working in Dubai and enjoying the intoxication of name, fame and success. Then osteoporosis (brittle bones condition) hit me. I felt betrayed. I but calmed down soon, realizing that may be being an absolute workaholic is not much beneficial. Lesson learnt- Health comes first. I came back to India and landed up being a teacher. I love and enjoy teaching. Secondly, this is almost a half day’s job if compared to corporate world’s work timings. I got my well deserved me time, which gave me an opportunity to discover my love for writing. I write poems and have written a book too titled “Finding the chromosome X”. I have got an opportunity to do a bit of a theater. I enjoy being a member of Toastmaster’s club, a club where members get together to improve upon their communication and leadership skills. I am living a meaningful, fruitful just more than a satisfactory life. Would I been able to do and enjoy all of the above if I was still working full time? What do you think?

Would you too try the same when hit? 1) Don’t stay with the wound for long. If you do so, you will scratch it and the pain will only increase. 2) Find the lesson learnt, and 3) Find what positive happened because of it. Stay Blessed! Stay Happy!!
