MOVING PAST MY SIDEWAY YEARS
I never knew it has a name until I read it in Tim Sanders’ Today We are Rich, he called it his “sideways years”.
For the past four years, my life seems to be either at a standstill or moving very slowly, sometimes it feels it is not moving in any direction at all. I guess that is whatsideways means.
A great question was asked by the author in his book and I quote,
“What are you doing then that you are not doing now?” and right away I knew I have stopped doing a lot of things in the last four years.
They say it is never too late, and I agree that at any moment in time we can change. Today, I want to declare that I am moving past my sideways years.
To my sideway years, I say goodbye.
