Very few mentally ill people are intentionally abusive and putting the onus on them rather than suggesting they seek help and support is simply unfair. Many mentally ill individuals, particularly sufferers of common illnesses such as anxiety and depression, end up withdrawing from friendships and relationships out of fear that they are unable to interact appropriately with others, thus worsening their illness. I do not find your commentary on this issue well-informed or constructive, I’m afraid.
