When we first read the article The Podcast Monetization Problem And A Call For Change we knew that advertising for podcasts is broken for the following reasons:
It is a numbers game: either you have the necessary audience, or you can’t monetize properly.
We at Pitch believe that podcast monetization shouldn’t be limited to huge podcasts with hundreds of thousands of downloads a month.
That’s why we started Pitch in the first place: to enable content creators to grow and monetize their podcasts. We work with content creators in a revenue share model, that not only aligns interest but also connects them directly to brands that they want to advertise.
Also, advertisers will have no excuses, such as “you’re too small for us”: we will pool downloads from several podcasts together so that they can always meet the requirements of any advertiser, be it a Fortune 500 or a local SMB.

Also, we will help content creators to understand and grow their audience in a seamless way, and also remove the uncertainty from advertisers regarding audience, making this partnership great for all involved parties.
