So the numbers they get from the 3% conversion must be pretty high. High enough to the extent that they can afford to pay the partners — Shiv Sagar, Big Bazaar, etc; the sales person; tele-callers; partner hotels and many more.
I am not sure how much the sales pitch must be working. For people who get lured by the free stay won’t be the ones who would buy their deals. And the one who can afford would not fall prey to a free stay.
But in the bargain they are definitely destroying the brand image. It’s now known as a company that collects phone numbers and make sales call.
And don’t we know what happens to the ph numbers once you share it and it’s no longer useful for a certain company?
