How to Mint an NFT using Mobile Money 📱

STEP 1: Create And Fund A Solana Wallet

Install Phantom

To mint your Legendary Mask you’ll need a Solana wallet address. We highly recommend either grabbing one from Phantom or Solflare. Both wallets have browser and mobile app versions.

Create Wallet

We will use Phantom for the sake of this demonstration. Once downloaded or installed Open the Phantom App on your phone or browser. Click “Create New Wallet” and Type in a unique “Password”

Next, store your “Secret Recovery Phrase” in a safe and secure location, it is the only way to recover your wallet should you lose it. Note: Whoever has access to this phrase will also have access to your funds so make sure to keep it TOP SECRET. (Refer to image 1.3 below)

You can skip this step if you already have Phantom wallet setup

Fund Your Wallet

To mint the Legendary Mask Mint you’ll need to make sure you have some little SOL (Solana’s native cryptocurrency) on your wallet for transaction fees. Head over to a crypto exchange to buy some SOL (We recommend and will use Binance for this demo). Once you complete buying SOL, make sure to Transfer the SOL from your binance account to your Phantom Wallet by copying and pasting the phantom wallet address on binance withdrawal. This transaction may take a few minutes. Once complete you can start minting. (Follow the process below to buy SOL on Binance)

Buying SOL on Binance

Create an Account on Binance and head over the P2P section under the trade tab, click on the SOL tab. Refer to image 1.4 below

Choose the payment option you’d want to use (M PESA, Bank Transfer…) and click the BUY SOL icon when you see an ad that matches your buying bracket. (NB: Take note of sellers completion rates and no. of orders. The higher the rate the less riskier the trader is to trade with, presumably 🤪). Refer to image 1.5 below

Once completed the SOL will appear on your funding wallet, you can access it from the wallet tab (Refer to image 1.6 below)

Once you are on the funding wallet, click on the withdraw icon (Refer to image 1.7 below)

Once you click withdraw you can choose SOL and paste your Phantom wallet address (Refer to image 1.8 below)

Copy this address on the top of your phantom wallet (Should be a string of letters and numbers) and paste it on the “enter address” field as shown on the image above

STEP 2: Mint A Legendary Mask NFT

If you’ve successfully completed the above steps CONGRATULATIONS!! Now you’re ready to mint 🥳. Visit the mint site (www.joeimpressions.com). For those using a mobile device (phone/tablet), open your phantom wallet, and navigate to the browser tab, then copy and paste this address on the URL (www.joeimpressions.com) to mint on mobile.

On the top right side of the page, click on ‘connect’ and you will receive a prompt that tells you which wallet is detected. Select the wallet detected and approve connection to the mint site by keying your “Password”
