You may notice some second-wave Marketplace items missing from this update, e.g. Roulette tables & Metabike. These items and their additional utilities will find their way into the game over the coming weeks.
In the meantime we look forward to seeing what awesome Homes everyone comes up with. We’ll be hosting competitions for the best-decorated Homes!
Back-end development
Building a metaverse platform is no joke! Our developers have been hard at work behind the scenes upgrading our network infrastructure in preparation to support the Pixelverse platform.
We’ve achieved several important technical milestones for AlphaV2:
- Scalable network architecture
- Instanced (serverless) rooms
- Our own Web3 API for traits & Pixelverse items
These initial building blocks have been developed to a high standard in order to ensure the Pixelverse sits on solid foundations. They pave the way for additional Pixelverse modules and marketplace content.
