♡ In this tutorial I will show you how to publish your first dataset. ♡

Nuklai’s public data marketplace serves as a platform where individuals and organizations can contribute and share their data with other members. By contributing your data to this Marketplace, you become an active participant in Nuklai’s Data Ecosystem.

One of the key benefits of contributing data to Nuklai is the opportunity to attract new business collaborations. When you make your data sets available to other members, you are exposing your profile and your expertise to potential partners who may be interested in using your data for their own projects. This opens up avenues for collaboration where you can work with other members to develop innovative solutions, conduct research, or create new products and services.

There is also an opportunity to earn money by sharing your data. Other members who find value in your datasets can subscribe to them, providing you with a revenue stream. This subscription-based model allows you to monetize your data assets and potentially generate revenue on an ongoing basis.

[Step 1]

When you first enter the Nuklai Marketplace, you’ll immediately notice a prominent button labeled “Upload Dataset”. This button serves as the starting point for sharing your valuable data with the Nuklai Community.

Clicking it will present you with two different options, each catering to specific data sharing preferences:

Dataset: Choose this option if you want to upload a dataset where you are the sole contributor and retain full ownership and control of the data.

Community Dataset: Select this option if you want to publish a dataset that allows contributions from any user within the thriving Nuklai community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Once you have selected the appropriate dataset type, the next step is to enter a descriptive title for your dataset. It’s worth noting that the title can be changed at a later stage, giving you the flexibility to refine the presentation of your data.

You’ll also be prompted to upload a file with a maximum size limit of 2GB.

♡ [Step 2]

Nuklai supports various file formats, ensuring compatibility and versatility for sharing diverse datasets.

The supported file formats include:
◌ CSV;
◌ JSON;
◌ XML;
◌ Parquet.

Once you’ve completed the required information and clicked the Upload button, the system will begin processing your file. This processing phase may take a few minutes as the data is carefully ingested and organized within the platform. To keep track of the progress, you can conveniently access your dataset on the “My Datasets” page.

♡ [Step 3]

When the status changes from “Processing” to “Draft”, it indicates that your dataset has been successfully processed and is now ready for further evaluation.

To ensure the accuracy and intended representation of your data, I highly recommend querying your dataset through the user interface. Simply click on the Query button, elegantly displayed as a rocket icon, to perform the desired checks. This step allows you to confirm that all of your data has been processed accurately and meets your intended goals.

During the draft phase, which spans a generous 14-day period, you retain the flexibility to finalize the publication of your dataset or even delete it if necessary. However, once the dataset is published, it becomes a permanent feature of the Nuklai Data Marketplace and cannot be removed independently.

Following these structured steps, you can confidently navigate the process of publishing your dataset on the Nuklai Marketplace, contributing to the vibrant data sharing Ecosystem and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
