This week I got a chance to reminisce 1706. The day had started with a story itself. It was an unforgettable encounter. I am not covering the story here, but rather more important part from here on. What it lead to?

17062010 I started my career on this very date. Switched jobs. Switched careers. It has its own high times and low times. A lot to take away on 17062020. Here they are:

1. Curiosity is something that can make our work from being mundane to absolutely interesting.

2. In every job, there is room to create space for ourselves where we are independently being an enjoyer and being enjoyed the fruits of our work, despite being overwhelmed with processes.

3. I am very awesome at research and love for coding never cease to exist.#Personal

4. I love mentoring and coaching. What enabled me in here is connecting my struggle of learning empathetically with fellow learners. #Personal

5. Respect is earned not demanded. Humility and Respect goes a long way forward, irrespective of the age and the position of our colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.

6. There is a bubble of fear we work in and it is created by our families and communities. This bubble is an illusion and growth outside that bubble is more interesting and uplifting.

7. Getting money for the first time is thrilling but saving and investing during the initial years of job create a room to take risks and step back in life and career.😍

8. Everybody around is confused and unclear. We all are in the same boat.

9. Eventually, each one of us will raise to six-seven figure package despite being our university, school, percentages, etc.

10. We have to make one choice in a career between adventure or stability. Both have their own cons and pros.

11. It’s never too late to leave something and try something new.

12. Everybody has their own struggles which we aren’t aware of. We are replaceable at the very next moment and work never stops. We need to put a hard stop at the last minute of our work-time 💯💯

13. We will have one friend from a job who will be the one for life that follows after that first job.

14. We need is self-awareness and personal vision to guide the career, not the other way around.

15. Try hand on your own startup. It’s a must. We work more than any job. But it is a fulfilling experience, full of learning. It helps us to connects dots which we miss in our jobs about any business.

16. We are not the work we do. We are not our accomplishments. We are not our designations. We are the person we become in this journey.

10 years. Not a big time. And here I stand. Nowhere today, Everywhere at the same time. More enlightened. Smarter. But still carries that part of curiosity and naivety of 17 June 2010.

#Gratitude to the first and to the last of person I work with.❣️❣️
