Interesting endeavor. I have always felt that somehow societies have taught people to take an over-simplified approach to understanding intimate relationships where the holy matrimony is the jack pot and everything (or everyone) that doesn’t lead to that goal is considered to be less worthy. That is just bluntly wrong. Relationships exist to serve people’s needs, not the other way around. Human needs are complicated and diverse. To categorize them into simple definitions such as spouses, lovers, dates is just dead wrong! People should feel free to ask for whatever variation of relationships they wish.
